| | There is no shortage of lodgings in Sihanoukville with the exception of holiday weeks. Budget and mid-range accommodation can be found on the beaches, primarily Occheuteal and Serendipity whereas others are in the heart of downtown along Ekareach Street. | |
| |

| Budget Budget accommodation, including guesthouses, ranges between US5-US$20. The backpacker favorite on the Road to Serendipity is the brightly colored Monkey Republic Bungalows. On Serendipity, guesthouses offer good value for money and family friendly Lucky Guesthouse offers slightly better comfort and security.
On Otres Beach in the atmospheric Star Bar bungalows, the only sounds are those of the waves washing onto the shore. Several budget guesthouses are found on Victory Hill, among them Sunset Garden Guesthouse and Blue Frog Guesthouse. | | | Midrange There is usually a glut of mid-range hotels, offering rates between U$15-$45, with some of the best ones found off Occheuteal and Serendipity beaches. Some include breakfast in the price. Orchidee Guesthouse offers excellent value with some poolside rooms, air conditioning, a fridge and cleanly designed rooms. Golden Sand has suites as well while elegant Reef Resort has poolside rooms, breakfast and free pick up from the bus station. Queen Hill Resort is right on Otres beach and many of its 22 bungalows have water views.
Holiday Palace on Victory Beach is the first full service casino. It keeps rates low to attract the gamblers and its rooms and suites are spacious and nicely decorated. It comes with a spa and Chinese and Japanese restaurants.
On Independence Beach, Sea Breeze Guesthouse has 20 large rooms, a restaurant and free pick-up and transport to or from anywhere in town. A good place for some peace and quiet. | | | Top end A large luxury resort is being planned on Occheuteal Beach. Meanwhile, Sokha Beach Resort has elegant rooms and suites from US$200-US$1000. Decorated in Khmer style, it has a spa, fitness center, a large swimming pool, children’s playground and the best beach in town. | | |
